British kit that's not in DPM or MTP? God Save the Queen King. Apparently the British wanted their troops to be able to travel without being harassed by former colonial subjects. Something to do with a certain massacre in Boston.
The 30L British Daypack packs some serious punch for such an unassuming pack. Featuring a large main compartment with an interior laptop sleeve, it also has an expandable bottom that vastly increases the storage capacity of the main compartment. Additionally the lid can extend over the storm closure to seriously increase carrying capacity, allowing the pack to function as a small camping pack if need be. The two large side compartments are perfect for carrying around Nalgenes or a packable rain jacket for quick access.
The reinforced stitching and heavy duty zippers combined with its low profile and rather tacticool gray man nature. This pack can pass as a standard carry on while having enough carrying capacity to avoid the overweight baggage claim from American Airlines. Ask us how we know.
